I was very skeptical, but decided to give it a try…I bought only one set because I didn’t want to waste money on something that didn’t work. Plus I for some reason am skeptical of MLM companies. For me, these have proven to be legit. I’m excited to share them with you.
The package comes with an alcohol wipe, a file, and the nails stripes. I am able to easily do two manicures and have some leftover for accent nails if I want.
They also have sets for petite nails and for pedicures. I haven’t tried either of these before.
There are multiple videos on YouTube that explain how you put them on and there are a few different “techniques” so I encourage you to check those out as what works for me may not work for you.
A few tips I have learned along the way.
Clean your hands. It’s best to clean your hands before doing your nails so that you avoid any dirt and oil from your hands getting onto the nail strip causing them not to stick properly.
Do your thumb and pointer fingers last. These are the fingers you use to apply the nail strips and to ensure they don’t get ruined make sure to do these fingers last.
Use alcohol to clean your nails. The purpose of the alcohol is to remove all the oils from your nails. I used hand sanitizer one time thinking it was close enough. Needless to say, my nail strips did not last long at all. I realized it was because the hand sanitizer had a bunch of different ingredients which didn’t allow the nail strips to adhere to my nails properly. Stick to alcohol.
Putting the nail strips on takes a little practice, but to be honest I was surprised how quickly I learned how. I actually put my first set on while breastfeeding! Since there is no dry time if I had to get up and tend to my children, I just stopped what I was doing and did what I needed to do and went back to putting my nail strips on.
They say it lasts up to 10 days, but honestly I can get longer life out of them. They don’t chip! I couldn’t stand spending time putting nail polish on, waiting around being useless while it dries–only for it to chip a few hours or days later. Not these! I didn’t have any chipping until like day 10!
I have done my daughters nails, I first did her nails when she was three years old. It was amazing to do her nails because she didn’t have to wait around for them to dry or mess them up for me to redo them or get nail polish everywhere. Total gamer changer on that front.
If you are interested in trying Color Street please check out my friend Cayci, she has a Facebook group which she’s active in. She gives you tips, lets you know about restocks, and frequently has giveaways. She’s awesome! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to her if you have any questions at all.
Is this something you have tried before? Is this something you would like to try?
